The bucks are chasing guys.Had a 6 pt. at 8yds this morning sniffing a scrape but he never gave me a broadside shot and then he commenced to chasing the does again.Got to watch him freshen a licking branch over another scrape too.
Got to another stand at 2:30 and there was a 10pt. and 2 other bucks running does all over the field. It's on!

It's On Boys and Girls.

My drivers (non hunters) are reporting deer all over the state all times of the day.  I know the must be in the middle of fields and the sides of the road because they never otherwise see deer.

They were even excitedly reporting buck sightings to me.

Wisconsin is hot and heavy NY shouldn't be more than a couple days.  Its here boys.

2 of my friends (wheely hunters) shot 2 bucks, 1 monday, 1 wed.(twin 4 pointers) In the Fishkill Rural Cemetary property we hunt. I was fortunate to be hunting yesterday morning when my buddy Joe shot his buck. Got to congratulate him, and help with the dressing and dragging!!!

Maybe Momma had triplets!!! Wish me luck tomorrow!!!!!

Things started to pick up quick Saturday evening. I shot this guy Sunday afternoon afternoon having passed up some of his little brothers. He wasn't the buck I was targeting (he is bigger!)one of the largest body deer i have ever taken. My Morrison Dakota and Abowyer performed flawlessly. I think this coming week things are going to explode. Best of luck to all my brothers and sisters!

Think rattling would be any good at this time? Havent seen crap yet behind my home. At my work found scrapes the trails are black with tracks and found a very nice rub. I may just hang out there for the new few days  :)
