Very nice Stone Knife and with a Hill to boot. It was a great morning in Morrisville and I saw lots of deer and a turkey so it was worth it to get out, but by 11AM here it got really windy so I called it a day.

I went to my stand that i have in a deep gully, it was out of the wind. I had a nice doe at about 80 yards just bedded down she was there the whole time I was. This one came through around 8:00 just before it was too crappy out

Stayed out until around ten this AM--windy! Saw a small forkhorn while still hunting and a doe, 2 more than last year on this day! It just started to pour and so I'm staying in until the morning. Great to be out there again!

Awesome Jim! Congrats!

No luck for me this short morning, but Im going out again now that Im back from work. Well as soon as I get some grub in. A buddy sent me a email this morning while I was at work. He shot an amazing 8pt on West Point. Biggest I seen here in these parts. Good for him.

Keep it everyone. And Good luck.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,

WINDY! We had 45mph gusts. I rode the tree with my toes curled around the branch.  At 4:00PM - just after the rain let up - two adult does came by for a visit.

Nice adult doe.  She'll taste great.  (I think it was my lucky Adirondak bibs!)

Went out first thing this morning but only stayed out for a couple of hrs. The rain and wind just wouldn't let up. It didn't take long to get soaked even when staying in the pines.
I can't get out tomorrow so I hope next weekend will bring better weather.
I reckon so

Nice job!

Thought we were going to get one today too but just a little bit out of range. A beautiful windy day in the tree though!
