Maybe you can ask in the bowyers bench on the main page, they will have a better responce.

All how you apply it and protect it. As said here, I have skins I've put on lasting 15+ years. Lots of how to's on tradgang.

I will try one more time. I know I don’t have the talent to do this; I tried the boyer’s bench but am trying here again. Does anyone here do this for other people?
Thanks Robert

I put rattlesnake skins on a Morrison longbow 5 years and they still look great. Be sure to buy plenty of superglue.

Ya might want to contact Black Widow.  They put some dimond back skins on a PAII of mine and they were perfect.

Between what you'll pay to have someone else do it and the cost of materials, I'd say give it a try.  The pros do a fantastic job, but I bet you can do a pretty good job yourself and save some $$.

Here's my how to and another I got info from.

 http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=104823;p=1

 http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=000062

The main difference is that I did not use superglue to coat the skin.  I used Tru Oil (used for gun stocks) as a top coat.  Turned out decent and only cost about $30-$40 (skin, glue, Tru Oil).
