German Spruce vs. Sitka Spuce
« on: November 20, 2011, 08:38:00 PM »
Does anybody know what the diffeence is?  I've been shooting Sitka for a little bit now and I really like them and I am in need for more.  I was looking on Kustom King and they have German Spruce.  Does anybody know if they are as good as Sitka?  Any info would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

D, I bought a doz. German pine to try. I found them heavy as compared to my Sitka Spruce. The shafts varied as much as 100 grains in the doz. I did find them to be very straight, 2 out of 12 needed straighting. I haven't shot them yet, health reasons. For the price try them, they may be for you.
