Nope we don't hunt these deer.  We just enjoy them being here.  I guessed him at close to 150 when I first saw him.  He runs with a big 8 that is near 140.

We had a near 170 buck out here a few years back but he got hit by a car.

Can't tell if he has 2 g-4s.  I would say around 140 for sure. Those extra long eye guards may push him closer to 150.  A big boy for sure.

I'd go with the 150 mark. I know you don't hunt them but Mike you better not let Rusty see those pics...

He definately needs to do some breeding in the neighborhood, with everybody out there having a feeder in their front yard I'd imagine the herd is pretty healthy this year.

Well Mike I know nothing about Texas deer, but if I saw him here in N Idaho I'd shoot him in a heartbeat just to get an accurate measurement.  I'd guess in the high 140's.

I enjoyed following along on your elk hunt again this season...it was the toughest year I've ever had during archery season for elk this year as far as number of critters seen.

I think he scores high enough to go buy some infra red goggles and find out for sure.  :saywhat:

Beautiful animal. Not a lot of mass. I think 140 probably is really close.

Don't get me wrong.  If this buck showed up while I was hunting the only way I pass him up is high.

Here at home the girls (Connie and Jason's wife) like having the deer around and every morning we go get the card and see who's been by the day before while we have breakfast.

He's big enough that I would kick my own a$$ after buck fever made me choke on the shot.
