I found a replacement for duco

Hey everyone just want to let yawl know there's a glue out there thats cheap and really works well. (I have no ties to the company) Its call "Quick Grip"; I found it in Wally World..aka wal Mart. Its cheap roughly $2.50 for a 2 oz tube and it works really well. I glued up a test ara this mornin and didn't let it cure. It held even when passing half way through a hay bail.
Its made by Beacon Adhesives; their website is beaconcreates.com. Check it out if your in need of a new glue.

FYI, the closest Family Dollar store to me is roughly 25 miles. I'm not making a 50 mile round trip to save a buck on a tube of glue.
I can still get Duco at a lumberyard up the street from me but having an alternative glue seems like a pretty good idea.

No Duco around here that I've been able to find. No Family Dollar. WalMart and Lowe's put the small guys out.
Thanks for the post.
I'm with you gspb, negativity ain't what it's about.

Thx for the heads ups.
Duco is not at any of the stores around me any more. Walmart,Lowes,Home Depot none of the 0.99-Dollar stores,Michaels, ect. I've been looking for a few days now for it and can't find it near by. I guess ACE Hardware carries it but it would cost me $20 in gas to go there.

I only use Duco for nocks, so a tube lasts forever. Never been in a walmart, never will.

Look at your local stores for "house hold cement". You may find a simular make like Duco!
All adhesives, cleaners, etc. use same chemistry, No magic formula!
