A little over $16  a arrow, a little more than I would spend but they might be worth it.

Sounds like they zero in with a nice group on your wallet. Ain't a damned arrow out there worth that much for everyday hunting IMHO.

I have heard good things about them, that they perform well.  But, I'm all for all so far when I hit critters with my current stuff, sooooooo..........?

If I ever get to the point where I can afford to go to cool places and hunt huge, tough, dangerous game, then I'll be able to afford top of the line stuff to do it with.  But as long as I am hunting tiny deer and small game on little parcles of public and private land in the south and midwest, where we are short on cape buffalo and tigers and polar bears, I'll stick with my wood/cane/low end carbon shafts and just take short shots that I am reasonably sure I can make.

Too much for me.  My woodies shoot better than I can shoot them.

I just got a new catalog from them. You can get a 6 pack of fletched arrows (the U-FOC ones) for about  $130. then add 6 of the Ashby broadheads at 3 for $110.  You can be outfitted with 6 complete arrows for only $350.

Not worth the price at all.  They switched to having the arrows made in China.   Everyone loved the old shafts made in America.   Everyone I know who has owned the new shafts has gotten rid of them.  The shafts made in China live up to Chinas reputation for quality products.  $130 for 6 shafts is ridiculous pricing for substandard shafts.

I agree with Ragnarok, I have some of the old shaft and the new one... never again. I like the taper on them, and the weight, but won't buy any of these any more, to expensive!! I love Surewood shaft!!

ill say this

The market will dictate if they  are worth it or not in the big scheme of things.  Not worth it to me as there are all kinds of other choices that accomplish whats necessary for less money.  Plain old GT blems have everything I can afford to hunt covered and are about 1/4 of the cost.

That said, I wish them luck.  Guys buying expensive arrows is a good sign for the economy.

Don Batten

the new momentum shafts are a great shaft. twice as good as the regular grizzly stick. they are made in fla, not china. they have no stiff side like the older shafts and I have found them very consistant lot to lot, which I did not with the originals. you can cry about the price  but you won't nod about a 1000 dollar bow. It's the arrow that does the job not the bow. I know , the 4 dollar for 6 are flying great and you have killed a ton of stuff with it. If you've had good luck with the cheaper stuff (and I have) then go with it ,but don't put down  a product because it cost more if you have not tried it.
