Wing Len Cardinale Signature

My son 23yrs old is getting back in too hunting again. He has his 45lb BP bow we bought for him when he was 12 but he wanted to go up in pounds and keep back his 1st nice bow for a keep sake. So I bought this Wing Len Cardinale Signature,62in 53@28 3pc t/d recurve for him. I dont ever remember seeing one before.Its a nice shooting bow, draws smooth,shoots real nice, fits him good.Just was wondering if any of you ever owned one or still do and what kind of luck you've had with yours.

I owned one for years and shot the tar out of it.I sold it to a young man to start with a few years back and he is still shooting it.Great bows you will not be disappointed!!

I have two. Both a right and a left 55# and 51#. The right hand has been my go to bow ever since I bought it a few months ago. Does anyone know what years they were manufactured?

Are these bows made be Wing archery?

Do they have any resemblance to the Len Cardinale Signature Bow that was made by Stemmler?
I own one of those which is adjustable between 55 and 70lbs by tightening or loosening the limb bolts.

In response to bawana bowman's question.My sons bow has no adjustment for poundage. Its a 3pc with grey actoinwood riser and black fiberglass over what appears to be maple lams. Its grip is very similar to my Bob Lee but overall appearence is differnt. Very nice bow.

Soap, Don't have the bow here at the house. But I did manage to find the little instruction booklet that came with it. Shows the pivot point which makes the weight adjustment possible, and tiller adjustment. Also gives you a good idea what the Stemmler model looks like.

I beleive Bob Lee made the Cardindale signature bows in the early 80's ..remember seeing a brochure for them under Wing Bows

Yup, thats them. Everything looks pretty much the same. They shoot real nice.I have a Bob Lee and the grips are very close to being the same.

I just noticed something about Jacks two bows. The tapered wedge in the limbs are oppisites. The left hand, taper faces the back,right hand,faces the belly side. I wonder if there is any difference in how they shoot? Could be made two different years/thus the change?

Good eye Greg! I never noticed that until you mentioned it. I haven't shot the 51# limbs that came on the left hander yet to see if there is any noticable difference.

These bows were not made by Bob Lee. After AMF went bankrupt the Wing name and other stuff was sold to someone from New Jersey and Len Cardinal was involved someway if just the use of his name. As far as I know the bows were made overseas. The REd Wing Hunter takedown was another model from this era which is 1980's.
