Unless things have changed or are different in other places, broadheads are the only legal head for shooting geese. If you are launching arrows into the air with other hunters around, you will get complaints, even if you are shooting directly away from them. When I shot geese, I arranged with a local land owner to have permission to drop arrows into a plowed field that were shot from the public water. I only shot at geese that would give me that trajectory, missed 9 and hit two pass shooting, one day when the geese were in the area. The Pearson Deadheads easily did their job.
