My son Schafer made a video of our day and he'll be along shortly to provide a link. He did a good job with it.

I’m generally not a patient man, but that story just taught me some. Great story and it’s a deer to be proud of for sure. The father son duo is great read about also.  Your story made me think of hunts with my old pops and for that I thank you.

I would be very pleased with that buck, looked like a great shot as well.  I am a Longbow Junkie, great choice of a weapon, even in gun season.  Awesome story, man.  Thanks for sharing the fun.  Nice buck!  :archer:
