Another nice buck taken with a Shrew
«

This has been a good year for nice bucks taken with Shrew bows. I just got this picture sent from a fellow in Kansas, his bow is a 54# Shrew Classic Hunter.

Ron, that guy looks real familiar. Any chance he's a Michigan native? And if so, what area. Spitting image of someone I know/knew.

Wow, that's a dandy too. I guess it's time to get a Classic Hunter in the stable!

I know this is an old thread. But I was looking through Mr. Laclairs posts, yeah I'm a fan! Anyway, I saw this and realized the hunter in the picture is Detroit Tigers outfielder Andy Dirks. My daughter and I met him just a couple weeks ago at a meet and greet autogragh signing. I had no idea he is a traditional bowhunter, so cool. If I get the chance to meet him again, I'll have to talk bowhunting with him.

Ya Jim that's Andy,he's a dedicated traditional bowhunter. He's been wanting to come to my shop sometime when he's in Detroit, it's about a two hour drive. The one time he had a chance to drive up my wife and I were headed up for a couple days of turkey hunting and he hasn't had a chance to make it since.
Andy sent Gregg and I some signed bats and balls

That's really neat Mr. LaClair. Andy is a nice guy and seems to have a good taste in bows. We met him 2 weeks in row, and actually remembered my daughter. And there were a couple hundered people there. That is a nice buck too!
