youth and bowhunting
« on: November 30, 2011, 04:06:00 PM »
As a judge, I tend to see the dark side of human nature on an all too frequent basis. But thats a whole 'nuther story. Anyway, I have a longbow, a Martini T/D  45lbs, 64", that would make a great xmas gift for a younger person. I would like to donate this bow to a deserving youth. A day in the woods beats a day in the streets.
Fellow tradgangers, do you know of someone that would qualify?

You can post it as a give-a-way and have people give ya their name or memeber number and than you pick a winner!! That is the fair way rather than having the first person respond or something. Shawn

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

There are plenty of people who could put it to great use.  It's your bow, decide how YOU want to give it away.

Thank you for such an awesome gesture.  I'm confident it will find a loving home.

I'd like to get my name in there. My son just switched to lefty and trad this year and shot his first deer with a 45# Bear rear recurve. He would put that longbow to good use!

Very nice gesture, its what keeps me coming back to this site. Good luck finding the right person.
Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.

Daniel,
Thanks for the very generous gesture. This will make one 13 year old very happy and excited on Christmas morning.  I have PM'ed shipping info.  If and when Will outgrows this bow we will pay it forward in the same fashion.  Thanks again and a very Merry Christmas to you good Sir!  Clark
