Crow Creek Black Feather- Choice??

Can anyone comment on the BFeather with R/D limbs vs. Elmer's recurve limbs; both 62" bows. I'm not a big fan of aggressive R/D as I have always felt them to be "whippy" at the end of the shot. I like Elmer and hos bows and am looking at one he has in stock. Thanks for the help!!

HI Ed, Ive had both recurve and lonbgow limbs on the same bow (a Black Feather combo). I didnt notice the r/d longbow limbs being whippy or having any other tendencies I didnt like, a very solid shooting bow.
Of the 2 the recurve limbs were a hair faster, but I shot the longbow limbs better.
If he has it in stock, I would just go with what ever limbs are already made for it. This way you can shoot it a bit then decide if you want/need the recurve limbs.

Thats good advice Matt and I think I'll do just that. I have another recurve that I love anyway but longbows are my favorite. Thanks for your input as it will save me some time and aggravation. Best, Ed
