Here is another look at the bigger one. Sorry about the quality of the pic's, these bulls were 150+ yards away.

To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

I saw a couple more today. These are some great bulls also.

AW this country is a lot steeper than what the pics show, but this is wintering ground and not where they are in Sept.

Scott if you ship me some wolves make sure they are already tanned and ready for the wall!  :saywhat:

Kicked my but for sure Elk.  Going from 30' above sea level to STEEP 10,500+ worked me over pretty good. Lol

Found a couple more, So far I have seen more and bigger bulls than ever!

Elksong, I think it's simply amazing that these animals can make it from year to year.
The environment they live in and what they go through during the rut shows how tough these animals are. Great photos, thanks. Teaschner is a real comedian isn't he?
