Tried a new broadhead and doe down! Ringtail too!
« on: December 05, 2011, 10:28:00 PM »
Man it was a cold morning! I even took my sleeping bag today and was glad I had it.

I recently had to drop down a few pounds on my bows because of health reasons and have ended up shooting in the lower 50's. I thought I would give 2 blade broadheads another try so I looked around and decided on the good old Ace broadheads that have been around for ever. They make the Express in a 200gr model which are very easy to sharpen and what I like to shoot up front on my Doug Fir arrows that weight in at 618gr

They sure worked good!

Frozen blood on this sapling.

I didn't have any trouble following this blood trail.

Entrance!

Exit!

Nice big holes!

I didn't have my pack with me today or my good camera and tripod so this was the best I could do.
