You are right!  I just opened her up and I am impressed.  The heft of the riser caught me offguard, but I like that.  It is probably why I shoot my Tips fairly well.  I also wasn't expecting the antler tips and accent on the thumb shelf.  Sure draws smooth all the way out to my 29 1/4.  Pictures tomorrow guys.

I thought the same thing Dave when I got my 2nd KS.... The heft of the Dymondwoodn riser was surprizing compared to the Shedua riser of my 1st KS.

But I really like it!

Did you go 56 or 58"?

Short riser and long limbs make them super smooth at long draw lengths.

56 inch, Jack said it scaled at about 51.5 @ 28 so it will do just fine on whitetails at my 29 1/4.  I will probably to set it up with MFX classics and either 175 or 200 grain VPAs.

The heads and shafts are proven for me and I am betting the bow will hold up it's end and then some.

I'm sold on thumb rests. I had Jack put thumb "ledges" on both my Stealth and Longbow. Not as pronounced as Fedora(which I like) but gives positive hand placement.

The smoothness of the bow will surprise you and the extra weight in riser will make the bow real dead in your hand. You won't be disappointed....

Congrats, if this is your first you will get another one. Check out his Raven if you do. Jack is the best.

Dave,

Outstanding...I know how you feel. Just got one last week, thanks to a fine gentleman.

I could not understand the hoopla about them and now I do and am very pleased.

Congratulations...

God Bless,  Pierre

Up for the impatient crowd!  LOL

I haven't had a lot of time to spend with the bow, but if I had to hunt with it today I would shoot my GT 3555's with 50 grain inserts and a 200 grain broadhead.  I got great flight with that combo as well as Axis 500s with 175 or 200 grain heads and 2016s with 145 grain heads.  The bow is very quiet and dead in the hand.

Interestingly I got great groups with the bow right off the bat, but the point of impact is 8-10 inches left of my point of impact with my Robertson.  Once the brain adjusted it was hammer time!
