And yet anther bare shaft question
«

Ok I got a 56" longbow shooting 3 under and I got 4 matched arrows two fletched two non fletched. I am getting a point low nock high with the bare shafts no matter what I do I have gone to the extreme low and can see the arrow kicking in flight and worked my way up to the extreme high with arrow kicking in flight. but on the high and low end the arrows are both lower then the fletched ones with point low and nock high in target when I get both sets to group together the angle is far less but still point low nock high. I am guessing that they are about 10 degrees off parallel to fletched arrows. and I can not get the bare shafts to shoot higher then the fletched arrows by moving the nock up or down. if nock is high bare shafts hit low if nock is to low bare shafts it low. I can make them group real nice but like I said they are off from parallel just a little. what is causing this? could this be from brace Hight? I have not played with that yet I did measure the brace hight and it is 6.5" I have not changed it yet because I do not get any arm slap and the bow feels good where it is but do you think by taking it out to about 7 or 7.5" and playing with the nock some more would really change this? Or do you have any other ideas?????????

I am going to say too stiff, but more info on the bow center cut, draw length, weight at your draw, and arrow info will help.
This is the kind of thing I can see shooting split too stiff. Most times I have less issues shooting too stiff 3 under and can get a decent false tune or at lest level flight. Sometimes even nock low.

More info,
bow is marked 64# @ 28" I draw 27.5 it has carbon in the limbs with bamboo core. arrows are CX Heritage 250 cut to 29" and I have 236 grs up front 125gr tip 11 gr insert and 2 50gr brass screw in wieghts. Bare shafts show sightly week maybe 1 to 1.5" to the right of fletched arrows. I was shooting at 15 steps from back stop.
Bow look 1/16th past center
I do cant my bow I would say top limb tip sits between the 2 and 3 if you where conparing to a clock.

Your arrows are weak. If you shoot your bow straight up and down you'll see your bare shaft arrows come off the bow tail left. Think about it, as you cant the bow a weak arrow will come off "nock high" because of the bow rotation. I only bare shaft, shooting staight up and down. Then when I have good arrow flight that way, I can shoot w/ any amount of cant and get good arrow flight. Just what works for me.

Over stiff does this for me because it comes off the riser and often the rest or out of the corner of the shelf/riser.
You could be stiff still, but not a whole lot even with my experience needing to shoot that shaft weaker than you would think. You can try some heavier point and play with nock height a little to see. I like to shoot back to 20 or even 25 yd. to really see what the shaft is doing. If nothing changes, then try taking out one of those brass weights and go a little stiffer then play with noch height. If you see it improve then play with brace a little to see if you can fine tune.
I am not sure I understand your amount of cant. If you cant at all you will send the arrow low nock high. Hold it vertical to bare shaft tune. You could be about right on tune or even weak a little.
