a hunt with a view... this is horsehead island, more or less "lands end", the laguna madre is beyond the sand, then a narrow chain of few barrier island then the gulf of mexico

Great hunt and thread, looks like a blast. Except for the big gators:) That picture of the indigo was great, what a neat snake.

Norman - yes those Indigos are great snakes.  They are one of the largest nonvenemous snakes in the country.  
They're beautiful snakes and great to have around since they eat rattlesnakes.  Our indigos are protected under state law and i think the easterns are federally protected.
