string material...8125 vs astroflight?
« on: December 10, 2011, 05:53:00 PM »
How does astro flight compare to 8125 on a 45# longbow?

Thank you

I have had very good results with Astroflight and D-10.

I was a crash test dummy for astroflight when it 1st came out.A great guy who is a fellow Tradgang member built me a few.I immediatly liked it.I tested it against my stash box of strings thats flowing over and it was my favorite. The bows shot pleasant and quiet with good peformance.

I have pretty much been using it along with D-10.Eight strand with loops built up to 16.

I am sure you will be happy with it and its worth a try IMO.

8125 is good stuff as well.
