Well it kinda depends on the weather, but when I can I like a "short brimmed - 2 inches" fedora style hat.

Has anyone tried a Bailey Lausch hat before?  It has a really short brim and is a "bucket hat" style.

I just saw a post today about Bailey of Hollywood hats. They have a litewool Camo Fedora! Looks really cool and not to expensive.

I have a couple of stormy kromers I really like.  Add a knit cap in really cold weather.  In warm weather I cut the brim off a camo baseball cap shorter with my bandsaw.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

I'm liking that "coups" hat.  My heads kind of small, so if I get a large, I guess I'll have to stuff it with some aluminum foil.    :biglaugh:    :biglaugh:

Ball cap early season.

Stormy Cromer early and mid season.

Fur when it gets really cold.

Baseball cap here, keeps the sun out of my eyes and I can turn it around mornings and evenings to allow better visibility.

My funky unknown brand hat for when its getting really cold.   The red plaid driving cap is a Woolrich. Havent killed anything while wearing it yet so I cant call it lucky but I likes it.

Here's the one I have worn for years... I'm not sure who the manufacturer was as thats now worn off but it's still marked "100% Wool" and has stood up to years of wet hunting here in the Pacific NW... I would highly recommend one, if it fits your style and you can find one.
