I received my new Zipper a few weeks back, it is 56 inches long and is 51 pounds @ 28 inches. The Limbs are the carbon foam evolution recurve limbs that Bill Dunn is becoming famous for. This bow is made of all Bocote, and is one of the best looking bows I have seen. Of course I am on the partial side since I chose the particular wood pieces that it was built out of. I have owned many different custom recurves, but this Zipper is my pick hands down. First the craftsmanship is second to none, and it is easy to see that Bill is very concerned with every detail of his bows from the fit and finish to the performance. The draw of this bow is silky smooth with absolutely no stacking at my 27 7/8 draw length. The bow is also completely void of hand shock; I mean entirely dead in the hand. As the Zipper name implies, this little bow will flat out zip an arrow. However, the best quality it possesses is the fact that it is forgiving and is consistently accurate. While we all know that a grip is a very personal thing, Bill’s standard grip with the finger groves fits me like a glove. So as you can tell I am in love with my new bow. On top of all of this Bill and Tracy Dunn are some of the most helpful and customer oriented people in the business.
Along those lines, I must thank Tracy for the pictures she will be posting of my bow in this thread.(She has to do it for me because I can’t figure out how to)
If you are in the market for a new bow, you owe it to yourself to give a Zipper a long hard look.
