My morrison shawnee is 51 lb @28in Im pulling 27in which is about 48 lb.I'm shooting a 28 in axis with a 100gr insert and a 150 gr ww.It weighs in at about 535gr flethed wrapped and ready.has been lethal with complete pass thru on whitaile all 20yd or less. For elk and caribou and even moose.will this set up be adequate?Or should I add some weight to the arrows?Or consider  2 blade?
Your best shot is only as good as your next one!

Keep the shots close and get perfect arrow flight and it will be plenty on all but the moose. I would think it is enough for moose, but a good 2 blade and a tad more weight would not hurt, ya ever see a moose rib? Shawn

Stay out of the Big Bones and it should be just fine as is.
For me I would up the weight and go to a 2 blade, but I do that for everything.

I believe in a good 2 blade for everything. I'm not sure about moose but get inside of 20 yds. and take good shots, you won't have any worries

Mike,

I will be shooting a 49# @ 28" bow with 160 grain BH. I shoot two blade heads. I have been told it will do just fine for caribou.
