Rob, that's the bow I want. Perfect. I see that is dark curly maple on the riser I believe, but what are the dark limbs (from the side, I know the hunters are black glass)?

That dark stain curly maple is one of the best looking bows i have ever seen. How well do his bows shoot compared to other 1 piece longbows. I have never owned a 1 piece logbow except for a Dwyer and it was the first bow i ever owned and i was 10lbs overbowed.

Thanks Kip!

Joe Van, Nate's bows are first class shooters. His 1 pc bows and 2pc bows shoot the same, can't tell them apart in looks or shooting when they are strung. Here's a link to a review Rob D. has posted in the Product Reviews.

Pics as promised...64" amo. 45# @ 28".  Curly maple riser with hard rock maple limbs.  Black glass. This is one of his takedown models and you can not tell it isn't a one piece bow.

Nice bow Pat! I like that roughed leather grip and asked Nate to use it on the Royal he's finishing up now.

Thanks Danny!  I love that new finish you put on your bow.  That gloss refinish is drop dead gorgeous.  I've been chatting with Nate about an Expi...can't seem to resist.  As much as I love curly maple I'm kind of thinking about a bocote riser with maybe 'boo limbs.  I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your new Royal.

Hello Jeff, I was hoping you were enjoying that bow with the new weight.

I had an accident on my motorcycle about 5 weeks ago, busted ribs, contusions and the left hand and wrist messed-up some. I'm mending fast now and am even able to shoot a bit again. Wiped out my hunting season though.

Just got an email from Nate, he's doing the finish on my bow so you'll all be able to see it shortly.

Sounds like you're going to make it, sorry about your hunting season. How did the bike fare?

I'm heading out later this week and couple days next week for deer. My son is coming down from WA. He's going to shoot my 55# Savannah. That way he won't need to bring his Savannah (same bow).

Then going after javelina after the first, little more confident in that as opposed to deer. These desert mulies can be tough. Either way, hope to get some blood on this Bama.

Can't wait to see your new one. I'm in the process of building one of my own right now. 3 piece TD/RD. I'll let you know how that comes out.

Jeff, bike was totaled. I just paid for her replacement with the insurance money.

Have a safe hunt and Good Luck!

I wish I had one on order with that dark curly maple. It will be a month or two yet until I can save enough money... I hope.

I just got my Bama Hunter a week or so ago.
55# @28 64"
Cocobolo riser and overlay, Bamboo limbs and accents. The limb tips are Elk horn. It has the takedown system installed.
It is smooth drawing, no hand shock, and shoots where you look!
Sorry the pictures are from my cell phone, so they don't do the bow justice.

Thanks for letting me show it off!!
