Michigan Rabbit Hunters!!
« on: December 19, 2011, 08:48:00 AM »
My dog, "Daisy The Wonder Beagle" is in her 3rd season, and she is hunting GREAT this year. As always, I'm running out of spots to hunt.....if anyone would like to hunt with a good dog, and you have a "spot", let me know. I am happy to just run her for you and your kids, I don't need to hunt at all. Let me know!

Hey Roger, is Daisy going to be at the stomp this year? Hope she gets some practice before then. She will be needing it if it is anything like last year, lol. Happy holiday's and good hunting, Mike.

Roger, I'm in the Hudsonville area and will be rabbit and squirrel hunting after deer season is over. Pretty fair amount of bunnies in these areas and would love to bowhunt behind a dog. If it would work out for you let me know. [email protected]

Roger, the rabbit numbers are better on the property I deer hunt in Bad Axe. Would love to have you and  Daisy come up and stomp it. plenty of think areas. Might e able to line up another farm not too far away too. Oh, dont need to and you just be a bystnder, ring whatever weapon u want.

Denny,
Any room for one more for your rabbit hunt?  I live in Grand Haven and love to watch beagles work.  I haven't had a beagle in about four years now.

Khalverson,
Does your state have a closed season on coyotes??
New York closes the season in March. With the amount of them we have here, I don't think there should be a closed season.  Not that I really think it would make that much difference if the season was open year round, but I don't see a point in trying to protect them.  Here in the Adirondacks (at least in my area) we don't have anywhere near the game we used to have.  I'm not putting all the blame on coyotes, but I doubt it helps rabbits, deer, and partridge to have so many of them around.

Beagles, bunnies  and bows, it don't get no better.
