Not 100% on wood combos but will include hardwoods native to Indiana (why should you Michigan boys have all the fun :D )

I haven't seen a 2 piece but Chuck is a great guy to deal with. I would give him a call and see if he offers that as an option.

He had some really cool spalted sycamore and some great walnut. Persimmon might be interesting. I'd like to see if Chuck can pull that off!

I also have some spots full of sassafras. I have no idea if it would be a good bow wood but thought it would be something different.

I read that sassafras was used as a selfbow wood years ago. The sassafras I've seen in veneers was pretty light colored and plain looking. Maybe stained?
