Last day of the season
« on: December 21, 2011, 08:59:00 AM »
This season was a good one,the highlight was my son shot his first deer with his schafer longbow and all on video at 12 years old,Me I shot a buck with my new tall tines recurve and big jim broadhead short blood trail, then with a schafer one piece and treeshark broadheads I shot 2 doe, both very short blood trails. The second deer with the schafer happened on the last day last minute, great way to end the season.I was also able to test sitka gear from 75 degrees through 10 degrees,it passed the test. All my gear this year was new so it was cool to test out new stuff. Thanks to the trad community for building great products.I also want to thank everyone for sharing there stories and pictures,Good Hunting and Merry Christmas!By the way there were a few misses in there too, just a few..

Congrats on what sounds like a great season!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
