Brace and spine new to me Mosshorn

Just made a trade for a sweet little Mosshorn. Anyboddy know the recomended brace hight? Its marked 53 @ 27" and I'm drawing it 28 1/2". That should put me at around 58#s. Spine recommendations would be wellcome as well. Oh, 3-under and the bow is a 54"er.

It will depend on tip weight a bit, and how close to center cut your bow is.... but the 28.5" arrow at 58# with a 140 grain tip spined 60/65 comes out of a long bow just fine....there are a lot of variables that more experienced guys here could help you out with i'm sure. Kirk

If ya shoot a 29.5" arrow and 125 grain head I would say a 70-75# woodie will put ya on the money. Add ten pounds at your draw 58+10 = 68 and another 5#s for every inch the arrow is longer than 28"s, so 68+5=73#s, ya may need a tad more spine if ya go over that 125 fgrain point weight. Shawn

Thanks fellas. I was leaning towards the 70-75# range. Any help with the brace?
