Custom Arrows for Christmas!
« on: December 25, 2011, 04:04:00 PM »
My wife surprised me this morning with a dozen arrows she crested for me this week. She managed to get them done even after cutting a big chunk off of her pointer finger this week at work! The had been conspiring with Ishiwannabe to make sure she got exactly the arrows i was looking for. She even fletched them different colors so I could set them up at different lengths and different point weights for my 2 new shrews and keep them from getting mixed up!

Her finger is fine. She slipped with an exacto knife at work(an art teaher) and cut a thin long strip off her pointer finger. After an hour she still could not get it to stop bleeding and decided to go to the ER. They got it to stop with a compression bandage, 2 actually, it bled through the first. Now it's well on it's way to healing. She is standing next to me and says "thanks for asking!"

The arrows and especially the thought behind them doesn't get any better.  Enjoy.
