Jefferson13 has been shooting with me for awhile now.
I met Jeff when he was about 10 years old and I loaned him about anything I could think of that would get him interested in hunting.
He particularly enjoyed the Primitive Archer and Traditional Archer Magazines.
I lost touch with Jeff around his Jr year of High School through most of his college years. But a few years back he showed up one day wanting some help with his compound bow.
Well we got him all fixed up and I didn't see him again until just before the next bow season opened.
He said he wanted to go bow hunting again but his compound was really messed up again and he had no desire to get it fixed but wanted to know if I could show him how to shoot those really simple bows like I shot.
Needless to say I jumped at that opportunity and the lad is a natural. It wasn't long before he was ready to hit the woods after his 1st traditional whitetail.
Fast forward to now and Jeff is now 27 years old and one of my very best friends. He's like a little brother and shoots as well as I do these days.
Jeff didn't get to do a lot of bow hunting this season because being a very good video photographer with a couple of years experience doing pro football games and all kinds musical concerts he was given the opportunity to do the filming for some hunting show. He has been on the road all over the country filming every kind of hunt you could imagine.
I have yet to get to watch the bow hunts he's filmed but from what he's told me it's going to be fun to watch all of the unedited footage with him.
I let Jeff talk me out of my Osage Royale"ROI" 66" 52@28 and he is dead on with it out to 26 yards.
Jeff took possession of "ROI" today and was at the same time was officially inducted into "Mudd's Merry Men".
Sorry to be so long winded.I shortened it up as much as I could.(My word)
Congratulations Jeff!!
God bless,Mudd
