Where you staying for Kzoo?
« on: December 25, 2011, 10:03:00 PM »
Reading a couple of threads from others going to Kalamazoo next month got me thinking.  This will be my first trip to the expo and I'd love to meet as many TradGangers as possible.  My family and I will be staying at the Hampton Inn on Kilgore.  Maybe those of us staying at that hotel could set up a cocktail/coffee hour after the expo Friday and Saturday nights.  Others staying at other hotels could do the same.  I noticed the Fairfield seems to be popular as well.

As these hotels don't have notable bars and/or restaurants, maybe we could even set up a restaurant nearby for some post show meet and greet.  Just a thought.

Anyone else interested, or have any other ideas?

Thanks, Andrew

Man, I want to go there so bad. I hit Baltimore and Denton Hill every year but K-zoo is going on my bucket list for sure.

Not staying in town but would love to meet fellow Trad Gangers!! Someone talked last week of getting some name cards set up at one of the booths, thought that was a great idea.
May your arrow always fly true and your hunt be an adventure.

I'll be staying at my daughter's house in nearby Allegan, Michigan.  However, all of you be sure to stop by the VPA booth and introduce yourselves!  Can't wait!

I love the name card idea!  Would really be more convenient as we'll all be spending so much time at the expo.  Any idea where we could set something like that up?

We're talking about a road trip, trying to see who's is going at present, hope we can find a place to stay when we arrive, if we go, hope to meet some of you there, I will make a name tag and wear it.
