Introduction
« on: December 27, 2011, 09:55:00 PM »
Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum.  I'm 34, been bowhunting since I was 17.  I've been very successful with my compound but I am now attempting to convert to traditional archery.  I've been searching the forums for advice and I'm sure I will be asking questions in the near future.  I'm psyched to learn and become proficient enough to take my first whitetail with traditional gear next season.  Other than bowhunting I am an avid Shed antler hunter.

Welcome to Trad Gang and traditional bow hunting ... there will be times ahead when hunting with Trad gear that you will say " why am I doing this " .... but in time that will fade and you will come to know archery at a level like no other ! Enjoy the journey    :archer2:

I'm glad you are here.

If you are anything like the rest of us I think you'll find that traditional archery is about as much fun as one can ever hope to have with their clothes on.

I wish you nothing but success in your journey and if you fill a tag or two along the way that's ice cream on your pie.

There isn't any other place on this confounded machine that I have found real people who I have come to love and respect except tradgang.

Oh once in a great while I'll peek over into someplace else but there's nothing out there that can come close to what the folks here have made this place to be for those who share a common love.

These good folks are about as good as it gets and I'm sure with your arrival the bar will be raised even a little higher.

Thanks for giving us a try!

God bless,Mudd
