Enter the dragon..."The Red Dragon"
« on: December 31, 2011, 10:41:00 AM »
The "red Dragon" took it's sweet a** time getting here but finally arrived from S.C. this morning.

I am impressed!!!!

The bow looks awesome!!

It shoots as good or better than it looks!!

And best of all... I know it carries the "Sherwood" gene as I was totally transported to yester year in the click of a nock on the string.

Happy New Year!

God bless,Mudd

PS: I almost forgot...66" 50@28 slightly dished grip with Black on the back and white belly, wedge in the tips.

Real classy looks, how does it compare with a Howard Hill bow.

How does it compare?...hmmmm... I think I'll need more time with it to do that question justice.

I know for a fact that this one is on par with the best bows(Hill or Hill style) that I have shot.

The draw weight starts early but is quite smooth all the way back to 28 and more than fast enough to please me.

I'll try to keep your question in mind as I get to know the "Dragon" better.

God bless,Mudd

Mudd, I hope you have it long enough that I can put a few arrows downrange with it. I have talked to Dave several times and my buddy has one of his original bows from when he first started building bows. My buddy just quit shooting it to years ago but it is one of his favorites. Congrats.
