Mudd,

Fine looking bow, I almost had him make me one but I went with a Shelton in the end.  He makes a great bow.  I am glad you are happy with it!  Great way to start the new year buddy.

Nice bow Mudd!

Please post a detailed review once you've had a chance to get to know her real well. I'm interested in what you have to say about it.

I will do that Bud.

Right now I know I need to do some handle work on it. It's just a little larger than is comfortable for me.

I want to shoot it awhile longer before I do anything to it. Who knows maybe I'll adjust to it.

Happy New Year!!

God bless,Mudd

Flint, better hurry....you know how the Muddster is about buying/selling/trading bows.   :biglaugh:

Mudd, that sure is a fine looking bow--been looking those Dave Johnson bows over for a while.  I shot one years ago when he used to build them--a buddy bought one and immediately ordered another he liked it so well.  Hope you enjoy the Red Dragon.

Good looking bow, Mudd.

I orderd one from Dave back in july. He made the riser exactly how I wanted it, by using a 1/2" of bubinga with myrtle on top.
I asked him to make the riser 12" from fade to fade, and a slightly dished narrow grip with the belly glass taperd sharply at the top.

Hope you enjoy your red cedar longbow "Red Dragon" a much as I have mine.
Dave asked me what I wanted written on the lower limb, I told him to just write what it is - American semi-longbow.

Hi Mudd and Lambow
I'd like to own one fronm David but he wrote to me he don't ship overseas and it's a real pity; please some more pics and tell me about the cast, hand shock, what type string B50/FF, reflex or string follow; Lambow I'd wish a bow with small riser 12" instead of normal 15" but not many bowyer make it, Dave makes it on demand wonderful.
Marco.
