Naturals--Surewood tapered shafts
«
on:

I received a request to build some of these as part of a trade. I love making them just because they are fun and kind of unique. They are tail tapered down to 5/16" which exposes the natural wood gradually. Just another option, from many, when ordering custom arrows from me.

They look very nice, David.
I have two dozen of those shafts waiting on me to get after them. I had talked with Nate about doing the same treatment to mine, several months ago. I like the idea. I might possibly foot them if I can ever find some time

Good looking work David!
I have to tell you guys that I have had David do his master work on many arrows for me, and he does a tremendous good job.

Thanks guys. It is a pleasure to build arrows...can't get enough of it! haha These are 11/32" with a 10" tail taper down to 5/16". I have found barrel tapering to my liking also. I took some old ACME's that were 23/64". I put a front taper down to 11/32" and then a tail taper down to 5/16". I found that if you tune these to your draw length and bow you can get arrow flight as good as any shaft material.
