Well, I recently traded into this...

62" and 61# @ 28" (or about 64# at my draw...), thanks Chuck Hansen!

And just bought this one for $450 TYD...

56" and 63# @ 28" (or about 69# at my draw...), thanks Greg Clark!

Merry Christmas to me!  Or at least Happy New Year!

Been looking for both for quite a while...

awww man, Greg! I used to own that kwyk styk (made for Shawn Leonard)  =(  Wish I would have known it was up for sale, cause I was on the market for one and would have loved to have it back!  That one is a smooth shooter for sure.  If you ever choose to get rid of it, please let me know.

I think that may still be one of the strings I built for the kwyk styk.

Oh Jeffrey my friend. You will never be done. That's part of the fun of trad! Sweet bows for sure.. I really like that Styk. Hint.

Oh, I thought I was done buying and selling until I got my first Jack B Harrison.

See my Harrison Picture thread to see how much intervention, I need.

Jeff I've had that silly thought a time or two myself.

I'm hoping that by just admitting that I have issues it will lead to some sort of recovery..lol

God bless,Mudd

PS: I think the biggest problem is when we feed our addiction it brings new bows of beauty into our lives.. that doesn't help matters...lol

Mudd and Leatherneck, I know I have a problem, just thought I had it licked...  But, I've thought that before... ;-)

Raging, it's a Kwyk Styk...

I can't wait to get my hands on either of these bows!  I've wanted to try a Silvertip Longbow for a number of years, and I've wanted a heavier Kwyk Styk since the second time I shot my 56"/56# Kwyk Styk about 8 months ago...

Jeff,

You scored a Kwyk Styk for $450!!!!! WOW, incredible. Better go buy a Lotto ticket while you are hot.

Makes it hard to not buy the bow... especially when it is one of a very few you're looking for, plus it's the perfect length and weight, and on top of that it is a real good deal!  Was listed for about a half hour before I saw the add and bought it...

Killer Schafer!! KS is another beaut! Well done.

Explained this hoarding stuff to Mike (Scoobiedoo) on his recent trek back into traditional archery. Just spent $600 on his new bow. He's worried. Funny. So far, I believe, he's at least $3 grand & several therapists ahead.

I just had a terrible thought. Can you picture a therapist who is also a trad archer?
