Rainy day bows have a palm swell that fits right into your hand and can be shaped to fit your hand size. go to my web site I have a picture of my bow grip.

Chuck, that is the kind of palm swell I am asking about, the one that fills the middle of the palm.   Of course the part that contacts the heel of the hand is important too.  Thanks for the photo.

I just received my new recurve from St. Joe River bows and its just to what I ordered.  They will construct the handle to what you want they will actualy send you samples to draw on and such so they get it just how you want it.  heres how mine turned out and now ordering a longbow the same.

I make my own but it's alot like a Zipper. U might want to consider them. My first Zipper from Bob T. days had a nice palm swell and thats where If fell in love with them.

I would look up roman hershberger hill country bows.  He spent a lot of time translating my ideas into the perfect bow.  The grip was something we came up with after much discussion and is absolutely perfect.  He put quite a bit of palm swell into it for me and consequently I shoot it much better than the rest of my bows.  Good luck in your quest for "the one" Kenny is a rep for him on here and his site is tradways.com
