I put a trail cam on a BIG scrape in the swamp near a crossing I hunt. Not a lot of consistant times or patterns to figure out. Just sit till the rear gets tired and come home I guess. I think thinks will pick up in the coming weeks as mid november smokes here.

I think these are two different bucks but not sure. Whacha think?..
Cool how the first is rubbing his hocks together.

I think this is the first buck..

Jr....

He is a pretty nice 8 pt. I would have a hard time passing on him should the opportunity arise. I especially like his brow tines.

The local blacktails are finally starting to move around, but still nocturnal for the most part. A few recent videos...just click on the pic to watch.

This was 6 pages back.  Guess everyone is hunting only with bows these days

This is all I had this week.  Except for the 2,980 pictures of blowing grass.

I set this up on the edge of a field near a new scrape.  There were heavy deer trails on all sides of it.

This guy broke off a brow tine somewhere in the last 3 weeks when I last saw him.

I've had an interesting month...first the neighbor's rogue cow eatin' my food plot. He let me "have" him for the damage. Then he up an left before I got to do a broadhead test  :)

from my buddies in Alaska. Pic taken from a trail cam set up in front a cabin on kodiak island.

Pretty cool.

I can't stand it any more!  I told THE ADMIRAL that when trail cameras went on sale I was going to get one for her to give me for Christmas.    :D      Sure enough, Santa arrived early and I have a trial set-up outside now.

'Course I told her it was to monitor critters near the chicken coops, so I may have to sneak it out into the woods.
