40 yard groups
« on: January 02, 2012, 07:15:00 PM »
Haven't shot groups for a long time, so after getting my longbow all tuned up yesterday I wanted to see how it was grouping at 40 yards. This is the best I could do out of about 10 rounds. I had a few groups with some pretty good fliers, but I was able to keep it together for this group. I Love to watch the flight of the arrow. I shot a little at 60 yards today also, but had a lot of fliers. I like 40 and closer much better.

Lets see yours.

I would show My groups, but don't have the money to buy more shafts at this time... I only shoot 1 arrow when practicing.

That's some really nice shooting for 40 yards.  I'd be happy if I could do that consistently at half the distance.

I wish they were all like this.  This was just the best one out of 10 rounds.

Looks like you might have some spine issues. You were aiming for the white bag, right?

That is some incredible shooting, the only thing my arrows are sure to hit from 40 yards is the ground.

Very nice group A.S.  You could ruin a lot of arrows shooting that way.  :)
