There's a Trad shoot at the end of April in Jersey called the Whittingham. It would be a great place to start your practice for the next season and meet some nice folks.
Keep an eye on the Trad Events forum for shoots in the area.

Whittingham is a good time and not far from you down there.Excellent 3-D courses, some good venders and sometimes the swap table can be very interesting. You should plan on going to that one, a lot of folks on here go!

What helped me out a lot was keeping a hinting journal- kook phase, temperature, wind direction n how fast, what I saw etc. I also put down mistakes I made, good/bad experiences (canter be all that bad I was still hunting!!) And practice practice practice. I bought some trad archery books on learning proper form and stalking/still hunting by Fred Asbell. Good luck on your journey, still looking for my 1st trad harvest
