First Yote with a Bow
« on: January 04, 2012, 08:56:00 PM »
Just thought I would share my story .. I was hunting on the ground tonight with my gillie .. waiting for some deer to show up. Had a few out in front of me but just couldn't get a good shot so I passed on this ... after the deer moved on I seen movement in front of me .. a Yote! I softy started to do my mouse call .. and he walked up within 5 yds .. Shot him looking at me ... he ran .. heard him crash but could find him, it was just to dark out. He is in some very thick brush .. if I find him tomorrow I'll send a few pictures. I used my CHX, cedar shaft and woodsmans. It was Great!!!

Thanks,
Steve

Getting one of those is on my bucket list. Have missed several. They can dodge an arrow faster than anything I have ever shot at. Wish they would behave like turkeys and hang  around a while.
