Well, I got to start the New Year a little early this year! A friend of mine (Indian Creek) has a pig infested deer lease not too far from the house and invited me out yesterday afternoon (Thanks again, Kirby!). I stuck this nice sized sow about 5:15 and had her recovered by 5:30.
After shooting only "Hope" for the last month it was nice to get back to my old faithful Sarrels Blueridge takedown longbow. It felt like I had reunited with a long lost friend. The bow is 50# at my 29.5"DL and a well tuned Gold Tip produced a nice passthrough on this 120# sow.
Kirby also shot a little bitty BBQ pig that still had racing stripes but, for some reason, would not let me take a picture of him with it!
I hope everyone has great success in the New Year!!!
Se ya later,
Bisch
