Two of my bows like:
3R Traditional Only at 29.5 BOP. With nock insert, Bohning classic index nock, 8" Onestringer wrap and 3 @ 5" shield feathers. Up front there is a glue--n-glue-on adaptor (20 grains) and a 160 gr point. I use this out of a 51# at 29" recurve with an SBD 6-strand string  -- also out of a 53# at 29" recurve with a 6-strand SBD string.

Another of my bows is 50# at 29" recurve with an SBD 6-strand string and it likes:
a 29.5" BOP easton 2117 with a 9" Onestringer wrap and bohning classic nock and 3 @ 5" feathers on the back. Up front it has a 26 gr aluminum glue-in-glue-on adaptor and 125 gr field point or a 119 gr Bear Razorhead.

Carbons...Carbon Express 150's and Trad Only 400 and 500's. Like the CE's for hunting though as they are heavier than the TO's.

I like the skinny carbons...Axis, FMJ, Beman MFX with  4 X 4" left heilical fletch, 75 X 105. Size (spine) of shaft varies with the bow or who is shooting. I like 200-250 grains up front. They are all footed with 1" aluminum shafts.

My favorite wood is barrel tapered ash. I shoot aluminum 2117's now with Arrow Dynamic Trad Lites.
I will agree with Falconview...years past it was strictly Forgewood Battle shafts.
