58" Voodoostik with a 29" draw
«

Looking into getting a 58" Whisperstik Voodoostik in the next few moths. Does anyone with a 29" draw shoot a 58" Voodoostik? Is string pinch that bad?
I know it would be better to go with a Shrew or another style, but JD has a shorter wait time and just dont have the funds for a Shrew right now.
Thanks

I had a 58" but my draw is 27.5" If I were you I would order a 60" if ordering new. If buying an already built one, ask him if he can send it to you for a trial run. He is very good to work with and I know he would have no issue with it as long as you paid for shipping.

I think you will be fine , I had a 58 and drew it to 30 no problem . I don't understand why you feel a shrew or other style would be better , nothing against them but JD makes an awesome bow and they rank right at the top in my opinion.I've had alot of bows and still own my whisperstik and wouldn't trade it for any bow out there. I had a 58" voodoo stick and drew it to 29.
I liked the bow. It Shot great and I would have to agree with 100% with Drew! Except I sold mine to fund my first custom bow.

I draw 29-`/2" and had a 60" Voodoo. It was a great bow, but after speaking w/ JD I'd get a 62-64" next go round. The 60" had a little bit of stack for me, but was shootable. By far my favorite one pc bow and the grip is tops! I'd love to have a longer one..
