Anyone Ever Tried the 7 Lakes LB Blanks in Hill Style?

Hey all,
Just checking out the bow blanks from 7 Lakes Longbows and they have some nice looking stuff, especially their HILL Style bow blanks. It looks as though someone like me could finish this blank.
They can be had for a good price, much less than any of the other Hill Style bows I have seen lately. I believe they are $250.
Does anyone have any experience with these bows or blanks? I'd like to hear about them.
Thanks
Nalajr

i was told by a sales person, when purchasing an out-of-date newpaper that it was out-of-date...
i told her "i've been told i'm out-of-date, too"...
does that mean i'm up-to-date?

I love mine. Simple to finish with a $15 palm sander.
The 7 Lakes blank comes with the arrow shelf already roughed in.
The Hill Blank does not.

Nala, I've had two 7 Lakes bow blanks but not the Hill style. They are fun and easy to finish! I bought #13 on his website. 6 kinds of wood in it. Beautiful cherry veneers with bamboo and walnut lams. Sapele and rosewood in the handle. Zebrawood and macarta limb tips. Finished it with Tru-Oil.
Mike will prepare the blank as you wish. They have been fun projects for me. I just can't say enough about how the bow turned out.

One bow. One arrow. My ideal.
