x2 on misfires sentiments.  You have had a great year.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Gary, I guess you know you just sold some clothes for Classic Bowman.   :)   This is the style and type jacket and hat I have loved since I was a kid. Your photography didn't hurt matters either.

Congratulations on taking a deer the traditional way.

Magnificent camera work!  Whenever you have photos up I always show them to my wife.  This is the way pictures are supposed to look.  The colors and contrasts are stunning!

Congratulations on a fine doe also!

FYI, I took the big doe with the same arrow and 2 blade head that I shot the gobbler with last week.  A wet cloth and a little steam put it back into working order. As expensive as arrows are to build I am a firm believer in "recycling". :^) The lead doe was walking when I released the arrow at close range, hitting her at an angle.  She flipped sideways, fell to the ground, and exploded back the way she came for about 40 yards before totally shutting down. The arrow struck the back of her left lung, passing through the right before breaking the right shoulder where it attaches to the leg. Still spins true . . . guess it may find it's way back into my quiver again.

Thanks Bernie, I always like to hear that someone's wife appreciates one of my photographs. In my early years of bowhunting I became appalled (still am) whenever I witnessed disrespect for the animal or the act of hunting, be it in public, on TV, or in print. I was a certified IBEP instructor for many years and was always finding ways to include tips on photographing game in tasteful ways. A lot of guys have been wanting me to do an article on the subject and I'm thinking about it if one of the magazines takes me up on it. I'm sure that I would have a lot to say, HA.
