We pass shot them. They were flying down the v ditch real low and were landing in a wheat field about a mile behind us. We were in the flight path and had enough decoys out to get them to take a look. The shotgun guys knocked theirs out right away, and then laughed at me and another fellow bowhunter fling arrows. It was real cool.

Watching the A/Affliction show right now with Brooks hunting with a recurve. What kind of arrows and heads?

We can shoot one/year in North Dakota if we draw a permit.

I've taken several with a shotgun but have been reluctant to use my bow... concerned about control of shot placement and the possibility of leaving a swan flying around with an arrow in it.

I'm glad to see it worked out well for you!  Congratulations!
