Southern Style Bacon

I've been down at our little horse farm in Aiken for the last 2 weeks and getting ready to head back to Boston in 24 hour....to New England Cold! The weather has been superb like late spring. I got my forge completed & up running so Benjy & I headed down for a little Southern Comfort hunting the past few afternoons. Benjy shot a hog the 2nd night and I got lucky last night with this big boy...tippit

Scott,
He stunk pretty bad but Benjy smelled worse when he got a dose of Boar Urine during our skinning! I grilled a little up tonight and it was great with no strong flavor. It even passed to Molly test

Bill,
I flew down with only my carry on so all my Southern Bows were already in residence in Aiken. My Zipper is still shivering in Boston  But Benjy took this nice hog with your Zipper.

Awesome guys....we seem to be getting more and more hog activity lately. A buddy of mine has land in Barnwell that is just starting to show signs of them. Hope to get one soon.
