The bear in my avatar was killed with a #53 Wolverine and CX 150's with 325 grains up front. The total arrow weight was over 600 but under 650 grains. I draw 27"s so the weak arrow worked well. I'd say you need a cx 250 with a good amount of weight up front. The 350 might work though depending on how you shoot the bow but I'd almost bet on the 250!...Ryan

Sounds like an ultimate set up to me.Those things are going to fly like darts I bet.You might end up having to weight them up even more to get to 650/700 though.Im sold on the goldtip trad blems 55/75s w/250 up front. The CEs have one more wrap of carbon and are the ultimate in strength, but do cost a lil more. The best thing besides awesome flight characteristics and toughness is,I can shoot the same arrow out of 4 different bows that range from 50@28 to 65@28.

Oh yeah, they are hard to find ,but if you can get some good hickory shafts in the spine you want, they make some awesome slammers too.

This is a sweet shooting little bow. here is shot # 6,7,8,9, and 10 out of it at 25 yards. the 350s are stiff as you can see by the bare shaft. I will add some more tip wight to them looks like they will be 700 to 750 gr but thats ok with me they are flying like darts @ 659 gr and I sure they still will with anther 50 to 100 more grains.

I had to go for a little walk and do some stumping and try a few areal shoots with it just to try to get the feel for the bow. this has to be the sweets bows I have ever shot. a stump @ about 40 steps.

And I had to see what it looked like next to a rub.

I cant wait for spring bear season to get here.....

Nice bow, really pretty wood.  Is it a recurve or hybrid?

Very nice bow!
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

"This is a sweet shooting little bow."

I always get a kick out of statements like that. 61# is NOT a little bow to me   :)   I only wish it was!
