"The Great White Bow Hunter"

He is the great white bow hunter
He's the cock o' the walk
There's no game he hasn't taken
If you believe in all his talk
He's the one around the campfire
Who's seen and done it all
Using traditional gear
He's brought them all to fall
Go ahead and tell a story
You can bet he'll have one better
Don't ever try to prove him wrong
He'll defend them to the letter
He's been 'round the world and back again
But never worked a day
He's the back of the bus lawyer
Who has everything to say
So, if you have one in your campsite
Remember, that it's not his fault
Just take everything that he throws your way
With a grain of salt!

Shared many camps with "that guy" in various incarnations. Never twice with the same one, though.

He (they) used to wander into my camp, didn't stay long and never came back!

Good one!

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

I know a few of them.......I keep my distance!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki
