Who would you like to meet?
« on: January 15, 2012, 05:11:00 PM »
What famous or non-famous, Past or present traditional hunter would you like to meet & why?

I have a few tradders I'd like to meet but for starters I'll say Mike Mecredy @ Maddog. Because for one he's in the process of making me a pink custom recurve and for two I would like to talk to him about how he actually started making bows. That's an art like no other to me. The workmanship & time it must take to make just one is amazing to me.

Present - G. Fred Asbell and Steve Turay, and I plan to meet them both next month in McCalla, AL

Past - Howard Hill, Fred Bear and John Schulz (Not sure if Mr. Schulz is still alive or not. If someone knows then please educate me and I will change my post.)

I can personally vouch that Bob Barnes is a good person to meet and get to know.

I'd be willing to bet that Buddy Bell would fall into the same category.
